Through our support of Shopify Planet, we ensure that every shipment is completely CO₂ neutral. Shopify Planet automatically calculates the emissions of every shipment and invests in projects that remove carbon from the atmosphere and safely store it for more than 1000 years. For every order, we contribute between €0.05 and €0.15 to these initiatives. In this way, we work together towards a more sustainable future.

Accelerated Carbon Removal for a Green Future

The Shopify Sustainability Fund, which we support, invests in both existing solutions and innovative carbon removal technologies. By funding pilot projects and creating demand, it helps stimulate the carbon removal market and lowers future costs.

We actively contribute to these projects by financially supporting leading initiatives such as Grassroots Carbon, Mast Reforest and Remora. Instead of offsetting emissions through forest protection, these projects focus specifically on removing carbon from the atmosphere. Together we create real impact.

Grassroots Carbon, one of the initiatives supported by the Shopify Sustainability Fund, focuses on capturing carbon in the soil through regenerative agriculture. They provide landowners with advanced tools like rotational grazing software and soil carbon mapping technology, which helps them generate certified carbon credits. This approach ensures that landowners are financially rewarded for storing carbon in their healthy soils.
